Luc and Max Braams, from the Netherlands, competed at Yas Marina but shared the drive in the No.28. Max sparkled in Race 2 as he finished an excellent ninth while Luc, having skipped free practice, used Race 1 to get to know the car. In Race 3, the pairing closed out in eighteenth spot after an exciting race.
“My son Max”, began Luc, “drove the first stint. He was great because he managed to climb right up to eighth from twentieth on the grid. The pit stop didn’t go to plan because the car came in sooner than expected and I wasn’t ready. My problem in the race was down to missing free practice: my first contact with the car and circuit was in qualifying. Still, it has been fun as the car and organisation have been impeccable”.
