"Paul Ricard is a fascinating circuit where the 'European Trofeo' winner will be crowned. As things stand, I am the favourite as I am leading the overall classification and hold a big lead over the rest of the field. Still, anything can happen in racing and so I will be trying to do my best".
Christian Gebhardt: "In 2010 I had the pleasure and honour of racing a Maserati GranTurismo MC Trofeo at Oschersleben in Germany. Some improvements have been made to the car since then: the engine is more powerful and aerodynamics tweaked. It is still a stunning racing car and suited to fast, tricky circuits like Paul Ricard. This will be the last European round in the series before the car will be given a new livery inspired by the Stars and Stripes. The new finish will celebrate the fifth round to be held at Infineon (in Sonoma, California). From there the Trofeo circus will move on to Shanghai, China, it what has become a truly global championship".
