Brno, in the Czech Republic, is a circuit which has changed significantly over the years, having been shortened from its original length of more than 28 km to today's 5.40 kilometres. The circuit is very smooth and, thanks to its generous width, drivers have a certain amount of leeway in choosing their racing line into corners.
With just one really demanding corner, this circuit is distinguished by more or less short, all-out bursts of speed linked by chicanes taken at relatively low speeds. There are numerous opportunities for out-braking fellow drivers or using alternative lines to overtake, with spectacular results.
