As it is, Alessandro Pier Guidi doesn't seem to want to budge from the podium. By the end of Race 1, the driver from Tortona had collected his third win in fifteen days.
"I started on pole and never lost the lead. Sundberg tried to attack me at the beginning but, once I had settled into my rhythm, I was able to pull away. I am enjoying a good run of form and this is my third straight win with Maserati. The first two victories came in a GranTurismo MC GT4 at Paul Ricard in the GT4 European Cup and now I have won at a tough circuit like Brands Hatch in Race 1 of the Trofeo".
