In the early stages, he crossed paths with Roeger Green, from Evo magazine, before duelling with Roberto Giordanelli, from AutoItalia, at the end.
"My main problem was the tyres. They played up yesterday too, causing a bit of oversteer but I had to use them in Race 1. It was a steady race today but, as it was my first time in the car on Friday, my aim was to gain as much experience as possible, build up the miles and finish the race in one piece. I set out to drive cleanly and to find my own rhythm".
Race 2, timed for this afternoon, could give Maddalena even more reason to smile.
"I am on the third row for Race 2 with the right set of tyres. The car is fun to drive and I really like the track".
