The result probably disappointed given Ardagna Perez's pre-race expectations but it was still welcomed by the amiable Venezuelan.
"I am really pleased at finally finishing Race 1. I tried to maintain my own pace because I couldn't keep up with the others. In my opinion, I raced intelligently, adapting my tempo to Petrini's, who was behind me, without running any risks".
It was a good result in terms of the championship and, if possible, he hopes to do as well in Race 2.
"I hope to finish on the podium in Race 2 as I am sure I can slice a few tenths off my lap times by taking the curves better".
