Alessandro Pier Guidi: "I also feel at home in the team and with the guys. I have loads of happy memories with Play Team and Vitaphone Racing Team: things went well last time out when I won at Zolder in the final round of the season. It would be nice to keep the good results coming here in Germany. As in other areas, I aim for the highest results possible when I drive: I am not here just to take part... Alessandro Pier Guidi: "Despite being away for a few months, it was easy getting to know the MC12 again. Recently I have been competing in the Trofeo Maserati and in the GT4 European Cup in the Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo.
Free practice was positive, even if the rain influenced the lap times a lot and we had quite a bit of water on the track. We posted fast enough lap times when the weather improved a little.
I also got on fine with my new team mate Bert Longin and we will be doing our best over the weekend".
