Michael Bartels: "We had a dry track this morning and set our best time and, even though the second session was wet, the car did really well. I have high hopes for official qualifying and tomorrow’s Qualifying race. I hope it will be dry but, as I said, the car performs well even in the wet".
Andrea Bertolini: "The rain seems like a hangover from Silverstone. We worked hard today, trying out both set ups: wet and dry. The Maserati MC12 is a well balanced car in the wet or dry and I am convinced that we can do well tomorrow and lay the foundations for a solid performance on Sunday. As I have said a few times: continuity is crucial in this series. We have been consistent so far and I am confident going into this weekend".
