Bucharest circuit

The circuit, designed by German architect Hermann Tilke, extends around Romania’s parliament square. The building is famous for being the largest in Europe, second in the world only to the Pentagon. Though it is a city circuit, the average lap times ought to be fast owing to the four long straights. These offer many overtaking spots. The most difficult section would appear to be that parallel to the main straight. It is made up of two very fast downhill esses and demands courage and technique. The track is 3,115 metres long and is run anti-clockwise.
