Andrea Bertolini (2): «Following the Drivers’ title won early at Adria, ending with another win would be a great gift to Maserati, Pirelli and all our supporters. However, until the chequered flag is flown, we will keep our feet firmly on the ground also, the extra 70 kilos will not help! Qualifying went well considering that the track is not easy and that we made our run as dusk fell».
Jamie Davies: «We knew we would be hindered by the ballast in qualifying. We were also unsure as to whether we would set a quick lap as I lost precious tenths stuck behind slower cars and then the yellow flag came out on my last lap».
Andrea Bertolini (2): «We evidently worked better than the other teams and they pushed us all the way. We believed in ourselves from the start, the engineers, mechanics, all the drivers and Pirelli. It was a magnificent season. This is everyone’s title, including the fans who have watched us from home».
Michael Bartels: «Even though we won the title with a race to spare, the championship ended today and winning the title has still not sunk in. Together with Bertolini we won three races but ended nine races out of ten in the points. This was thanks to a reliable car that did not once give us any problems. It was a shame not to have done better here but we cannot have everything!».
Jamie Davies: «We were fast from the start and ended the season in the best of ways. I think I drove well in this final race even though some slight oversteer made overtaking on the inside of curves difficult. The results obtained allowed us to fight until the end for second place in the championship. I believe that I did my best along with Maserati and Pirelli in a real relationship based on trust».
Thomas Biagi: «I am pleased to have ended the season with this fifth podium in the last six races. This is thanks to the fine work carried out by Maserati, Vitaphone and Pirelli. I am satisfied with this third place as it allows Vosse and I to celebrate a podium that was only denied us by pure bad luck at Spa».
