Maserati triumph with Davies-Biagi

Dijon-Prenois - The sixth round of the FIA GT championship concluded with the triumph ofthe Maserati MC12 driven by Jamie Davies and Thomas Biagi.

The race was held at the French circuit ofDijon and saw the Trident crew secure its first win of the season ahead of the two Aston Martin DBR9swith Wendlinger-Peter and Deletraz-Piccini behind the wheel.

After 132 laps (500 km in total) completedin 2h55'10'533, Davies and Biagi had built an advantage of 19'933 over Wendlinger-Peter and 23'622over Deletraz-Piccini. Bartels-Bertolini's MC12 also did well despite the extra 60kg and a starting positionfrom sixth position on the grid.
