In the JMB Racing MC12 they set the second fastest time in the morning session and were quickest in the afternoon, a session run in searing heat. Michael Bartels and Timo Scheider, in the black and green Vitaphone MC12, will start from row 2. Behind them come their scuderia team mates Fabio Babini/Thomas Biagi who suffered clutch problems in the day’s opening session.
Alongside them on the grid in the other JMB Racing MC12 are the pole team from Monza, Philippe Peter/Chris Buncombe and Roman Rusinov. Pole position for tomorrow’s race went to the 550 Maranello driven by Bouchut. The race will start tomorrow (Sunday) at 11.15. Eurosport will broadcast live the start, the middle and the end of the race in three transmissions: 11.10-11.30; 12.45-13 and from 14.10 until the chequered flag is waved. There will also be a highlights programme shown between 19.30 and 20.00. Eurosport will be showing the entire race live.
Sportitalia will show two highlights broadcasts from 15.40 to 16.05 and from 17.00 to 17.30
